According to a survey conducted in September 2022 among teenagers in the United States, 70 percent of cis girls reported having ever seen or encountered pornographic material online. Cis boys were similarly exposed to online adult content, with 75 percent reporting they had seen or encountered porn online. In comparison, 36 percent of cis girls aged between 13 and 17 years report purposely watching pornographic material online.
