During the 8th of January, 2023, around four thousand supporters of the Brazilian ex-president, Jair Bolsonaro, stormed the Congress building, Supreme Court, and Presidential Palace in the Brazilian capital in an effort to protest against the recently elected president, Lula da Silva. The demonstrators arrived in approximately 30 buses that were later removed by the police and armed forces of Brazil to an already stablished camp of protesters since November of last year. During the riot, more than a thousand protesters have been arrested and the president declared a federal intervention of Brasilia until the end of the month.
