TGA GOTY nominees first week streaming hours watched 2022
The Game Awards (TGA) are an annual video game industry award show which honors achievements in video game production. The Game of the Year (GOTY) prize is the biggest award of the year with games nominated in this category being among the biggest titles of the year. The winner of the 2022 GOTY award, action-role playing game Elden Ring, was one of the biggest game launches of the year and also generated lots of interest on streaming platform. Within its first week of release, approximately 83 million hours of Elden Ring gaming content was watched across major live streaming platforms. Second-ranked God of War: Ragnarök saw 30 million streaming hours consumed over the first week post-release.
