The Last of Us lifetime unit sales 2013-2018

The Last of Us is one of the best-selling video games of all time. First released in June 2013, the action-adventure title developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony for the PlayStation 3 generated about 1.3 million unit sales with its first three weeks. As of June 2018, the game had received a PS4 release and a Remaster, and has sold over 17 million units. The game's 2020 sequel, The Last of Us Part 2 has sold about ten million units as of mid-2022. A HBO tv series based on the original game is to be released in 2023.
