Electric vehicle charger prices were on average higher in the United States in 2021, when an AC charger cost some 3,221 U.S. dollars compared to 322 U.S. dollars in China. DC high power chargers, a fast-charging EV supply equipment, were the most expensive charger type. In the United States, they cost around 81,169 U.S. dollars in 2021.
