What is Dry January?
Dry January means abstaining from drinking alcohol in January. The challenge started in 2013 as a health campaign delivered by Alcohol Change UK and is now considered a popular New Year’s resolution in the country. Notable benefits of taking part in Dry January that are widely highlighted include improvements to general health conditions, weight loss, and saving money.
