Texas was the U.S. state with the highest number of homes that received a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) rating in 2023. There were over 89,000 homes in the Lone Star State with a new HERS rating that year. Arizona and Florida were the second and third states in the ranking. Both of them had over 28,000 homes with HERS ratings issued in 2023.
