Digital fashion items that could be flaunted in virtual worlds, such as the metaverse, have not caught up with consumers yet. According to the results of a 2022 survey, only eight percent of worldwide consumers on average said they did buy digital fashion. In Asia this rate was slightly higher than the global average at 13 percent.
