Effect of inflation and energy prices on Christmas celebrations in Hungary 2022

In 2022, increasing consumer and energy prices negatively affected many Hungarians' Christmas celebrations. Nearly 70 percent of respondents stated that they would put more thought into buying presents than in the previous years. Moreover, nearly half of the respondents used less Christmas lights than usually, due to high energy prices.
