In 2021, the expenditure on digital static display advertising of the automotives category in Malaysia increased by one million U.S. dollar (+33.07 percent) since 2020. This was the first time during the observed period that the advertising spending has increased in Malaysia. Nevertheless, the last two years recorded a significant lower advertising spending than the preceding years.
