Trust in sources of information by French teenagers 2022, by source
A study on teenage news consumption in France conducted in October 2022 found that French teenagers have the highest trust in information provided by their parents and their teachers, as 93 percent and 87 percent stated that they trusted them. These trust rates stand for above the rates that other groups of people reached. For instance, journalists, ranking third with 64 percent, stood above friends who were trusted by 61 percent. In contrast, influencers were the least trustworthy group of news providers, reaching a trust rate of 32 percent.
