Final energy consumption in CEE 2020, by sector and country
Poland had the highest final energy consumption among presented Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, at over 3.1 exajoules in 2019. The transportation sector was the main energy consumer in Poland, at nearly 935 petajoules. To compare, in Czechia, the most consuming sector was manufacturing, while in Estonia, the largest volume of energy was consumed by private households.
