In 2022, the main reason Poles saved every month was unexpected expenses. On the other hand, 18 percent of respondents saved money in case of job loss or another source of income.
The data comes from the European Consumer Payment Report 2022. The report, published each year, is based on a survey conducted simultaneously in 24 countries in Europe, including Poland. 24,011 European consumers took part in this year's survey.
