Gadget access among children India 2022
In response to a 2022 survey on online media usage among children across urban India, 27 percent of parents with children aged between 9 and 13 years reported that their kids had access to access to both desktops and smartphones for the entire day outside of in-person classes at school. Another 18 percent reported that their children had access to a combination of desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The amount of time children spent on gadgets in India was affected by the lockdowns and the adoption of online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
