In 2022, a survey on the topic of resistance to antibiotics, revealed that 52 percent of Italians consumed antibiotics without being tested on what was causing their sickness before starting the treatment with antibiotics. This statistic displays responses of individuals when asked if they were tested before starting antibiotics in Italy in 2022.
