Health, education, and social spending as GDP share in Tunisia 2019, by segment
As of 2019, the total public social expenditure on health, education, and social protection (HES) in Tunisia contributed to 12.8 percent of the total GDP in the country. Most spending was allocated to education (7.11 percent). Moreover, social protection made up 3.75 percent of the total share, while health and nutrition contributed to less than two percent.
