Oil prices in the United States decreased by nearly six percent in local currency terms over the period from February to September 2022. In other regions presented, the prices increased, partly due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Furthermore, the price growth was higher than in the U.S. because of depreciation of domestic currencies.
