According to various measures of access to care, Americans experienced different levels of access to care depending on their age. From 2017 to 2019, minor individuals experienced better access to care than adult individuals for roughly 88 percent of measures. However, individuals aged over 65 faced worse access to care compared to individuals aged 18 to 44 for a quarter of measures.
