Insurers share of total assets of financial institutions in Taiwan 2016-2022
In 2022, the assets of insurance companies accounted for over 34 percent of the assets of all Taiwanese financial institutions. It not only shows that insurers were an important part of the region's financial industry but also that they were able to increase their share of assets from 32 percent to over 34 percent from 2016 to 2022.
