As of 2022, around 21 percent of trading value on the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) came from foreign investors. However, compared to 2016, the ration had increased by around 10 percentage points. In contrast, the Taiwan Stock Exchange gained around seven percentage points in the same metric over the same time.
