As of 2022, around one-quarter of trading value on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) came from foreign investors. However, compared to 2016, the ration had decreased by around eight percentage points. In contrast, the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) gained more than five percentage point in the same metric over the same time.
