In the case of fraudulent e-commerce transactions, large enterprises and mid-market players generally register higher e-commerce chargeback rates than small businesses. According to a survey of online merchants globally, 2.8 percent of online orders resulted in chargebacks among mid-market companies, while this percentage stood at 2.4 percent for small and midsize businesses.
