For the holiday season in 2022, approximately two-thirds of millennials in the Netherlands said they established a spending budget. Specifically, around 45 percent of Dutch shoppers from this generation partially set a budget, while more than 20 percent fully created one. About a third of baby boomers said they would not need a holiday spending budget.
