Between January and October 2022, OTT services apps were the most downloaded entertainment app subcategory in the United States, with a market share of 53.2 percent. Social networking and communication apps followed, with approximately 7.5 percent of market share in the category. Game console apps made up less than four percent of all the entertainment apps downloads in the examined period.
