In 2022, most inbound tourists arriving in Turkey used air transport to travel. Furthermore, nearly two million tourists traveled to Turkey by water and over 11.4 million by land. Overall, the number of visitors who arrived in the country by all the mentioned means of transport went up considerably compared to the previous year.
