The COVID-19 pandemic appears to have created a new consumption habit for many shoppers in Spain. In 2020, 43 percent of Spanish consumers used food delivery services, by 2021 it had reached 57 percent. Even after the emergency, this figure remained above 50 percent. While 15 percent used these services at least once a week, almost a quarter (22 percent) did so between one and three times a month.
