The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced an allocation of nearly five billion U.S. dollars to the export credit guarantee program (GSM-102) for 2024. The goal of this program is to mitigate the risk that banks and other organizations undergo when they finance trade services for the export of agricultural commodities from the United States.
