Mental disorder prevalence among adolescents APAC 2019, by gender and subregion
In 2019, the prevalence of mental disorders among adolescents across the Asia-Pacific region was slightly higher for boys than for girls. An estimated 13 percent of male ten to 19-year-olds in South Asia had a mental disorder that year, as opposed to around 11.8 percent of female adolsecents in the subregion.
