Public opinion on the reasons for rising gas bills in Turkey 2022
According to a survey conducted in April 2022, 43 percent of the participants held government policies responsible for the soaring natural gas prices. Additionally, one-third of the Turkish people thought the increase in the exchange rate of many foreign currencies against the Turkish lira was the reason for the increase in their gas bills.
