As of December 2023, according to official Chinese announcements, in total 150 countries (including China) had signed documents to join China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), around ten countries more than in January 2021. The Belt and Road Initiative, also known as One Belt One Road, is an infrastructural development strategy initiated by China in 2013.
