In a survey conducted among active investors in Australia in 2021, around 80 percent of respondents indicated that they strongly or somewhat agreed with the statement 'I do research before making an investment decision'. Around half of the respondents somewhat or strongly agreed to the statement 'I've invested in things because I didn't want to miss out'.

Values refer to respondents who selected strongly agree or somewhat agree.
