Does a university education affect one's choice of preferred news source? According to a survey by Morning Consult, the news source source accessed at least a few times per week by those with at least a bachelor's degree is the New York Times, by 58 percent of respondents. This is closely followed at 55 percent by the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. Foreign news was mentioned by 54 percent of respondents, followed by 51 percent who said they get their news a few times a week from US public news. CNN and MSNBC were mentioned by 48 and 47 percent respectively. While, US network TV news and Fox News were mentioned by just 38 percent and 36 percent of respondents.
