According to a survey of app users in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) conducted during the second quarter of 2022, almost the totality of the surveyed users reported preferring encountering ads while browsing their smartphones. Around nine in 10 respondents reported preferred encountering ads while watching TV, while 84 percent indicated laptops as their preferred devices to encounter online ads.
