As of the first half of 2024, 11 merger and acquisition (M&A) type exits were completed in Israel with local buyers. This indicated an easing of the downward trend, from 2022, in the number of Israeli-led M&A events in the country's high-tech sector. Between 2021 and 2023, the total number of these types of M&A deals decreased by almost 50 percent. During the observed period, American buyers remained most active in the Israeli exit market.
