As of 2024, 23 merger and acquisition (M&A) type exits were completed in Israel with local buyers. This reflected a slight decrease in the number of Israeli-led M&A events from the previous year, and a slowing of a downward trend since 2021. Between 2021 and 2024, the total number of these types of M&A deals decreased by 64 percent. During the observed period, American buyers were the most active in the Israeli exit market.
