In 2022, around 74 percent of people in Germany said that they wanted to buy Christmas gifts at a cheaper price on Black Friday. About 56 percent of people were in the situation that their financial position had worsened and were therefore reliant on Black Friday sales. This survey asked respondents in Germany who were planning to purchase something on Black Friday if they agreed with six statements.
