A March 2022 survey found that visiting a destination was the activity that adults in the United States and the UK were most interested in doing in the metaverse. About one in five respondents from both surveyed markets indicated that they were interested in metaverse travel. For UK respondents, attending a live concert or gig was ranked second, whereas U.S. respondents said meeting up with friends was their second-most desired activity in the metaverse.
