The 2022 edition of the gaming convention Gamescom in Germany generated significant buzz both in social media and traditional outlets. Among gaming brands and companies, Xbox and Microsoft were the most mentioned, accounting for 32 percent of all mentions in the gaming sector. Playstation and Sony ranked second, with 17 percent.
