Top ways consumers expect brands to advertise in the metaverse in the U.S. 2022
According to a survey conducted in August 2022 among consumers in the United States who are engaging with or wanting to engage with the metaverse, 59 percent of respondents said they were expecting brands to advertise within the metaverse through direct messages. This was followed by 52 percent of respondents stating they expected brands to use pop-up ads in the metaverse. Another 52 percent said they expected brand-employed influencers to approach them within the metaverse.
