According to a survey conducted in Japan in March 2022, the majority of consumers changed their food habits following the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Over 46 percent of respondents stated they cooked more meals at home compared to pre-COVID times, representing the most named change. Only 27.3 percent of respondents claimed their food habits had not changed much at all.
