Top projections on metaverse in five years according to marketers in the U.S. 2022
According to a survey conducted in October 2022 among marketers in the United States who are professionally aware of the metaverse, 68 percent of respondents strongly or somewhat agreed that most brands would be advertising in the metaverse in the next five years. Three out of four respondents strongly agreed that consumers would be spending more time in the metaverse than on social media, while 81 percent of respondents somewhat or strongly agreed that cryptocurrency would be accepted as a payment form by most brands functioning in the metaverse.
