In the week of January 3, 2022, both the grocery and superstore sectors in the U.S. recorded the highest growth in weekly visits compared to the same period in 2019, up 6.6 and 6.3 percent, respectively. In the week of April 4, however, the grocery sector recorded negative growth of 0.4 percent, while superstores increased 1.8 percent from three years earlier.
