Super apps: consumers trusting selected publishers 2022
According to a survey of users conducted in January 2022 in four leading global markets (Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States), 53 percent of consumer trusted their banks to be super app providers, but only 30 percent of respondents saw banks as the most trusted entities to provide them with an all-encompassing mobile platform. PayPal was the most trusted possible super app publisher for 17 percent of respondents, while 14 percent of respondents reported trusting the most Big Tech firms.
