Platforms for online video shopping in the U.S. 2022, by video use
Amongst those who had previously participated in online video shopping events, almost two thirds (64 percent) said they would prefer to watch these events on social media platforms, significantly more than any of the other selected platforms. This was in contrast to respondents who had not previously participated in online shopping events, who said they would prefer to watch such events on brands' websites (41 percent) or retailers' websites (36 percent), rather than on social media (23 percent).
