Gross domestic expenditure on R&D as a share of GDP in Tunisia from 2020-2022
In 2022, the gross domestic expenditure on research & development (GERD) in Tunisia accounted for 0.61 percent of the country's GDP. Since 2020, R&D spending as a percentage of the GDP has remained quite stable in the country. In absolute terms, Tunisia's gross spending on R&D amounted to approximately 750 million U.S. dollars in 2022.
