Gross domestic expenditure on R&D as a share of GDP in Morocco from 2020-2022
In 2022, the gross domestic expenditure on research & development (GERD) in Morocco accounted for 0.71 percent of the country's GDP. Since 2020, R&D spending as a percentage of the GDP has remained stable in the country. In absolute terms, Morocco's gross spending on R&D amounted to approximately two billion U.S. dollars in 2022.
