Key figures of omnichannel business activity by Conad in Italy 2020-2021

Between 2020 and 2021, the number of Conad stores providing omnichannel services has increased in Italy. However, the grocery retailer experienced a general decline in online orders involving online channels. After the COVID-19 breakout in 2020, grocery shopping went back to brick-and-mortar, shrinking the demand for home delivery or in-store collecting of grocery online purchases. Compared to 2020, the number of omnichannel customers - so to speak - decreased by almost 30 percent.
