The public sentiment in Russia deteriorated in September 2022, which was related to the announcement of the mobilization in the country. In that month, the share of those who felt irritated or tense doubled from July 2022, reaching nearly one third of the respondents. Furthermore, 15 percent of Russian adults reported feeling fear or longing in September 2022, up 11 percent compared to two months prior.
