Gen Z: effect of GMOs on food buying decisions in the U.S. 2022
A 2022 survey asked Gen Z shoppers (aged 18 to 24) if the presence of GMOs in food affected their purchase decision. 40 percent of respondents said that the presence of GMO had an impact on their decision most of the time. Contrastingly, 31 percent reported that it rarely or never affected their decision to purchase.
