China was the largest consumer of inorganic chemicals in 2023, at over 267.8 billion euros. The United States ranked second, but by a wide margin, with a consumption valued at some 82.4 billion euros. This was followed by India, which used up to 54.5 billion euros worth of inorganic chemicals that year.
