In 2020, Germany was the leading export destination for France's heavy commercial vehicles, coaches, and bus exports, based on an export value of approximately 984 million euros. This represented around 28 percent of the total French heavy commercial vehicle exports that year. Spain and Italy were the second and third export destinations, with around 430 and 368 million euros, respectively. That year, the French automotive sector exported just under 3.6 billion euros worth of heavy commercial vehicles, coaches, and buses to various countries.
